Palimpsest Panther
When I get stressed out, I pick runes to write on myself.  The runes apply to the situations that I am dwelling on and what I want to strive for/the outcome I want.  They calm me and allow me to focus my energy and mind properly, not just worry about things.
The X is Gebo - literally “gift.” This is known as a relationship rune, representing the exchange between two people.  I was thinking about a particular relationship and the balance that I would like to achieve. The next rune applies to the relationship I was thinking of. 
The “arrow” is Tiwaz - literally, the god, Tyr. The energy is one of right decision making and positive self-sacrifice.  It also represents fairness, developing sound judgement, and building spiritual will. 
I look to make sound judgments and appropriate gifts/small sacrifices in order to create a healthy relationship with this individual.  Looking at these runes helps me think in a calmer, more balanced way.

  1. hoomanao answered: Yeah, I go for a walk or do some writing/typing. Sometimes, of course, I just crawl off to bed. Runes seem like a great way to deal. PS - hi!

  3. sanguinespeaks answered: For stress I don’t think it would surprise you. But, if it’s not fancy beer, it’s meditation or letting fingers blab on the keyboard.
